Concord School has been part of the Duffy Books in Homes Programme for a number of years now. It is sponsored by Yarrow South Charitable Trust and we really appreciate their financial support to run this programme.

The students receive free Duffy Books throughout the year. They get to choose three times a year from a catalogue and they are given out at Duffy Hero Assemblies when a sporting or cultural hero comes to school to promote the benefits of reading.

'Caught Being Good' Duffy award books, sponsored by Scholastic are also given out at regular assemblies. The students really enjoy receiving their brand new books that are theirs to keep.
