Info for Parents

We are grateful for your interest in Concord School and welcome you to take a further look into what we have to offer your child.

School Communication

Important information is shared with our school community via a weekly school newsletter, our Facebook page, and the Skool Loop app (free to download from Google Play or the App Store).

Our school newsletter is sent home every Thursday to each family.  It is our intention to keep parents fully informed of school activities and activities happening in the community.  The newsletter can also be accessed on our website, our Facebook page, the Skool Loop app, and via e-mail

Free School Fees and Donations

Concord School has opted in to the government’s free school fees and donations scheme, meaning that we will not be asking for any activity fees or donations from our families.

Please note that this does not cover stationery, camps, or after-school sports activities.

We understand that family budgets are tight and feel confident that this will go towards easing household costs for families at Concord School.

Ka Ora/Ka Ako (Free Healthy School Lunches)

We are fortunate to be involved in the Ka Ora/Ka Ako programme where all students are supplied with a free healthy school lunch every day by ‘Time 4 Lunch'.
Whānau can opt in or out for their child/children and there is a question regarding this on the enrolment forms.

Please inform us if your child has any special dietary needs, if they have a food allergy, or if they are vegetarian, halal or gluten free. You will still need to provide morning tea and a drink bottle for your child each day.

Breakfast Club

The Breakfast Club runs from 8.30am every morning in Rūma Kānuka.  Many thanks to Fonterra and Sanitarium for supplying free milk and Weetbix.
